Could I have a Sleep Disorder?
At some point in our lives, we all have trouble falling asleep, but chronic sleep problems and persistent fatigue may indicate a more serious condition. Many people go undiagnosed; take the risk assessment below to see if you may be at risk for sleep apnea.
Complications from Sleep Apnea
- High blood pressure
- Coronary artery disease
- Weight gain
- Type 2 diabetes
- Heart attack
- Metabolic syndrome
- Complications with medicines and surgery
- Heart failure
- Liver problems
WatchPAT uses Peripheral Arterial Tone (PAT) to measure the patient's sleep parameters. PAT is a measurement of the tone of the arterial walls in the fingers, which is a reflection of the changes in the cardiovascular system that occur during sleep. The device also measures oxygen levels, heart rate, and snoring. The device records data while the patient sleeps, which is later analyzed by our Forum Health Providers.
Patients who suspect they may have a sleep disorder but do not want to be studied overnight in a sleep lab.
Anyone experiencing these commons symptoms of sleep apnea:
